The fuel pressure regulator return uses a short -6AN prefabricated PTFE hose and adapter fittings (return kit) to connect to the factory fuel feed line, using it as the return line. Mounted on the fuel rail is the Radium Direct Mount Regulator (DMR) and a Radium FPD-R fuel pulse damper. Adapter fittings and pressure gauge are included. Radium E, known to be bismuth-210, was the first synthetic radioactive element that was created synthetically by scientists at the University of California, according to Time. The -8AN feed line connects to the Radium EVOX fuel rail, as shown below. Pure radium was isolated in 1902 by electrolysis by Marie Curie and Andre Debierne, a French chemist, according to New World Encyclopedia. A selection of fuel filter elements are available. The filter is mounted to the chassis under the car using a specially designed bracket that does not require any cutting or drilling for installation. #Radium fuel upgrade
It is very difficult to upgrade only one component without consideration for the others. Unlike standard low-quality rubber fuel hose that degrades with alternate fuels, the provided hose is resistant to all fuels including E85.Upgrading the fuel system on an Evo X can be a lot of trouble if not thought out completely. The included 6AN fuel hose can be cut with standard tools and assembled without special skills. The variety of reuseable PushLok hose ends permit customizing (such as adding a flex fuel sensor) making installation quick and painless. The 6AN swivel fuel rail fittings are low profile making them ideal for the tight spaces associated with the EJ motor. The fuel pressure gauge can be installed at any of the 6AN junctions before the regulator using the included adapter. An adjustable Radium Direct Mount Regulator (DMR) and Radium 0-100psi fuel pressure gauge are included. This kit interfaces with the factory hard lines near the LH strut tower using SAE quick connects or older hose barb connections. Both kits use 3/8" (6AN) high pressure EFI fuel hose.
