The full game will see everyone start afresh and see Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players able to join the fray with full crossplay support between all formats. Originally, Arcadegeddon has been in early access on PC and PlayStation 5 since last summer. You’ll get to choose your loadout from 35 weapons, and there’s more challenges to unlock too. These include fireballs, health drones and much more.
Along the way, you’ll recruit up to eleven local gangs who’ll also set you a range of challenges to unlock special abilities.
The arcade conceit means that the game features six varied biomes, with their own challenges. IllFonic announced their interesting cooperative multiplayer shooter, Arcadegeddon, will leave early access on July 5. Naturally that means you & up to three friends have to jack into the super-game to blast these viruses into oblivion. However, a virus has infected the game thanks to the megacorp and unleashed hordes of digital beasties. To do so, the owner of the arcade linked a bunch of his arcade machines together to create a ‘super game’. The setup has the owner of a failing arcade trying to save his business from a faceless mega corporation. This pack includes an appreciation outfit and decoration in Gilly's Arcade, a five-day minimum XP boost, and a currency boost bundle.Co-operative multiplayer shooter Arcadegeddon will launch officially on July 5, developer Illfonic has announced. All arcade saviors will start fresh at launch, and as a thanks for aiding the game, Early Access supporters will receive the Adopters Bundle. Create a loadout from 35 powerful weapons to annihilate 8 base enemy types plus variants of each to equal 31 total, with 4 dastardly bosses leading them. Recruit 11 local gangs to Gilly's Arcade and complete their challenges to earn tech points that will allow you to unlock Surge Gauntlet Abilities, such as fireballs and health drones to help in the fight. The game is currently 19.99 on the PlayStation and Epic Games Stores and is made by Illfonic, the same group who made the recently released Predator game. Work together with up to three friends or brave the digital combat zone solo, exploring multiple vibrant biomes, competing for powerful loot in mid-game PvP challenges, and conquering multiple fearsome bosses with a mighty new final boss loop and beautiful biome premiering at launch this July. Its a third person solo or co-op, sort of looter shooter with randomly generated levels and also never ending levels.
Save the local arcade from the evil megacorporation Fun Fun Co, which sabotaged arcade owner Gilly's super game meant to keep the doors open. Now it appears the team has finalized their plans to be out in July 2022 for both Xbox and PlayStation consoles, as well as PC, with full crossplay between all three versions. And while they've had an active roadmap, it hasn't quite been updated since the Winter. At the moment, players have been able to get a taste of the game on both the Epic Games Store and on PlayStation, but in a limited capacity as the team has been working on the rest of the game and testing a lot of the moving pieces out. at 1PM PDT (AKA in 45 minutes) See you soon.
